As of 8 am on Saturday, the death toll had risen to 4,42,317. 308 people died in 24 hours. The number of patients undergoing treatment has increased by 1.18 per cent to 3 lakh 91 thousand 516. The national cure rate is 97.49 percent. The number of patients has increased by 870 in the last 24 hours. On Friday, the number of patients undergoing treatment in the country has reached 3 lakh 90 thousand 646. On Friday, 15 lakh 92 thousand 135 tests were conducted and the total number of tests has now reached 54 crore 1 lakh 96 thousand 989.
The daily positivity rate is 2.10 per cent and is below 3 per cent for 12 days. The weekly positivity rate was recorded at 2.26 per cent, down from 3 per cent in the last 78 days. The number of healed has now reached 3 crore 23 lakh 74 thousand 497. The death toll is 1.33 percent. So far, 73.05 crore vaccines have been administered in the country.
Application for covacin is under consideration
