Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve on Tuesday reviewed the station redevelopment on the Central and Western Railway suburban routes. He learned about the work of CSMT, Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Mumbai Central and other stations. Objectives in redevelopment

The decision to redevelop the CSMT station has been taken by the Central Railway and the Railway Station Redevelopment Corporation of India. The redevelopment project of the station aims to separate the arrival and departure sections, make the station handicapped, provide better facilities to the passengers, adopt energy saving options, renovate and repair the station.
