Afghanistan: Taliban cancel government swearing-in ceremony; Reason…!

There was talk of the Taliban holding a swearing-in ceremony to justify the 9/11 attacks on the United States. Today marks the 20th anniversary of the invasion of the United States. But now the Taliban has reportedly canceled the government’s swearing-in ceremony. The swearing-in ceremony will no longer be held to avoid unrealistic expenses, a media report said. Earlier, there were reports that the swearing-in ceremony would be held today, justifying the 9/11 attacks. But the Taliban’s decision has come as a shock to many. Such a decision does not sit well with the people as the Taliban are wasting money to perpetuate terrorist activities.

“The swearing-in ceremony of the new Afghan government was canceled a few days ago. The Cabinet has already begun its work. There are rumors that the swearing-in ceremony will take place, “Enamullah Samangani, a member of the Taliban government’s cultural commission, tweeted.

The Taliban had invited Russia, Iran, China, Qatar and Pakistan to the swearing-in ceremony. However, sources said that Russia has stated that it will not participate in the swearing-in ceremony if it is held on 9/11. The United States and its NATO ally, the Qatari government, have suggested canceling the Taliban’s swearing-in ceremony. Because it was said that choosing September 11 would send the wrong message. Therefore, political experts say that the Taliban has taken this decision in view of increasing pressure.
