Amarinder Singh’s big statement after resigning as Chief Minister; Said, “Sidhu he”

Capt Amarinder Singh, the long-serving Chief Minister of Punjab, has resigned today. Political movements in Punjab had gained momentum since morning. After Capt Amarinder Singh was asked by party stalwarts to resign, he took a firm stand and the discussion started in political circles that he would not resign. However, at 4 pm, Amarinder Singh went to the Raj Bhavan and submitted his resignation. After this, his statement about Navjot Singh Sidhu is under discussion. For the last several months, there have been quarrels between Sidhu and Amarinder Singh.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh said on September 18 that Navjyot Singh Sidhu is not capable and we will oppose his name for the next Chief Ministership. Amarinder Singh said, “Navjyot Singh Sidhu is a disabled man, he is going to be a disaster. I will oppose his name for the next CM face. It has ties with Pakistan. This would be a threat to national security. The news website Moneycontrol has given information about this.

He further said, “For my country, I will oppose the name of his (Navjot Singh Sidhu) Chief Minister of Punjab. This is a matter of national security. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan is his friend. Sidhu has ties to Army Chief General Kamar Javed Bajwa.
Amarinder made the statement just hours after submitting his resignation to Governor Banwarilal Purohit.

Singh stepped down as chief minister a few months before the state assembly elections, saying he felt insulted by the questioning of his leadership and was resigning.
