Another Corona Hospital with 1000 beds at Jalna

Jalna: Another 1,000-bed hospital for corona treatment will be set up at Jalna through the Social Responsibility Fund of Entrepreneurs. The state government will provide the required building as well as electricity and water supply.

Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the hospital would be set up by the Indian Institute of Technology (IOT) with social responsibility funds from various industries. In addition, the Tata Trust has decided to help in the treatment of the sub-district hospital at Ambad. It has been decided to set up a new oxygen PSA project in each of the five assembly constituencies in Jalna district. These projects will cost Rs 80 lakh each. These oxygen projects will be set up at Rajur, Mantha, Ambad, Ghansawangi and Jalna. A 50 bed corona treatment center with oxygen system will be started immediately at Kumbharzhari in Jafrabad taluka. Apart from this, instructions have been given to the concerned government agencies to provide 50 more beds with oxygen in the hospitals at Ghansawangi and Ambad. Considering the possibility of a third wave of corona outbreak in late August or the first week of September, the district health system is being set up. Private hospitals should not charge extra bills from patients. The government is keeping an eye on this. Tope said the hospital had instructed the concerned administration to take action if any hospital illegally charged more and reimbursed the patient.
