Bharari squads to enforce restrictions in Mira Bhayandar

Vasai: To curb the rising incidence of corona, Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation has decided to set up teams with the help of police to create awareness among the people through rickshaws and to take action against those violating the rules. A meeting of municipal and police officials was held in this regard on Saturday.

The city has been seeing an increase in corona patients over the past few days. Against this backdrop, Mira-Bhayander Municipal Commissioner Dilip Dhole had organized a meeting of police and municipal officials on Saturday. The meeting concluded that the spread of Corona was on the rise as the administration was trying to bring Corona under control but on the other hand the citizens were not taking it seriously. Therefore, along with other measures, it was decided to create awareness among the citizens to prove the seriousness of Corona. Accordingly, a total of 30 rickshaws will be set up in six police stations in the city. Apart from this, 48 ​​flying squads have been set up to violate Corona rules. Violators will be prosecuted.
