Big decision of Tamil Nadu government; Bill exempted from NEET exam passed

The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu has passed a bill in the Assembly exempting the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) required for medical admissions. This bill was supported by all parties except BJP. So now you will get admission in MBBS, BDS based on 12th standard marks.

“As soon as we came to power, we took steps to cancel the exams. The government is taking steps to enroll students in medical education on the basis of 12th standard marks, ”said Chief Minister Stalin while introducing the bill. According to the bill, students who want to get admission in medical college can get admission on 12th standard marks. So there will be no need to take a proper exam. In the bill, the government has asked the President to give permanent exemption to medical students in the state in NEET exams.

After a 19-year-old student committed suicide, the issue of entrance exams was hot. This student had sat for the Nit exam twice. But failed to get the required marks. After that, he is said to have taken the last step. DMK leaders had expressed grief over his demise.
