Centre’s suggestion to the states to strengthen the health system

New Delhi: States and Union Territories should conduct a thorough analysis of the Corona situation and strengthen health infrastructure, stockpile essential medicines and increase manpower, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba said on Saturday.

A high-level televised meeting chaired by Gauba was held on Saturday to review and discuss Corona management and response policy. He stressed the need for strict enforcement of coronary rules.

Giving examples of countries where multiple waves of corona occurred, Gauba expressed concern about the high rate of infection being found in corona tests in certain parts of the country.

He advised the state health administrators to carefully analyze the route of corona, strengthen health infrastructure and stockpile essential medicines to counter the possible increase in corona infection.

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan outlined the growing challenges of serotype-2 dengue in 11 states with more cases and complications than any other form of corona.
