BEIJING: Three Chinese astronauts have returned to Earth after 90 days in their country’s first space station. The Shenzhou 12 spacecraft landed at about 1:30 p.m. Ni Hasheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo were traveling through it. At last they have reached the earth. CCTV footage showed the spacecraft parachuting into the Gobi Desert. Some helicopters were kept ready there. Apart from that some vehicles were also ready. During this journey, part of the capsule returned from space was found to be damaged. The astronauts had gone to their space station on June 17. It included the commander, astronauts Liu and Tang. In it, he repaired a ten-meter mechanical arm break by doing a spacewalk twice.
