Delhi Police Special Cell releases two suspects linked to Pak module

Delhi Police on Wednesday released two people linked to a Pakistani terror module. This information was given by the special cell of Delhi Police. According to ANI, the two are identified as Mohammad Jalil and Imtiaz. The two were arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with a case involving a terrorist module. He was later released on Wednesday.

Jan Mohammad Sheikh (47, Maharashtra), Osama alias Sami (22, Jamianagar), Mulchand alias Saju (47, Rae Bareli), Zeeshan Kamar (28, Allahabad), Mohammad Abu Bakar (23, Bahraich) were arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police on Tuesday. Mohammad Amir Javed (31, Lucknow) was arrested along with six others, Delhi Special Commissioner of Police Neeraj Thakur had said.

The Special Cell of Delhi Police and the Uttar Pradesh ATS on Tuesday arrested six terrorists linked to the terror module. The Uttar Pradesh ATS had subsequently arrested three persons in connection with the case. However, a special cell of Delhi Police has released two of them. But a third of them is still missing. According to Delhi Police, the Uttar Pradesh ATS had handed over the two to him.

Special Cell DCP Pramod Kushwaha said on Tuesday that the special cell had seized explosives and weapons in these cases in several states. All six were arrested from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. The two arrested terrorists are identified as Osama and Zeeshan.
