Modi also visited the Aligarh Divisional Exhibition of the Uttar Pradesh Defense Industries Corridor. Earlier, India used to import defense equipment, but now the country has become a leading exporter of defense equipment, he said.

By setting up a university in the name of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh of the Jat community, the BJP government is believed to be turning the disgruntled elements of the Jat community towards it. Due to the farmers’ agitation, anti-BJP sentiments are seen among the large number of Jat voters.
