CM’s remarks in the presence of Danve
Aurangabad: New churches have sprung up on the political stage as Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray mentioned ‘my grandparents present on the stage and future colleagues if we come together’. Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve and some other BJP leaders were present on the dais.
Reiterating the remarks on ‘grandma-ex-future’ at a press conference, the Chief Minister said, ‘The nature of politics has been distorted. I wanted to say that there should be politics without ego of position. Talking about the discussion on grandparents and future colleagues, he said, “Right, loud and the discussion is loud.” At this time Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat was sitting next to him.
After the flag hoisting program on the occasion of Marathwada Liberation Day at Aurangabad, the ground breaking ceremony of the Zilla Parishad building was held by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Addressing the gathering, Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve said that Marathwada Railway needs to be connected. Danve had on Thursday said that tests were being started to start high-speed rail along the Mumbai-Nagpur Samrudhi Highway. The new bullet railway project will have the full support of the state government, Thackeray told reporters after the event.
The formula is that the share of the Central and State Governments should be 50 per cent each for the railway project in the state. Opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis had alleged that all the projects were stalled due to the state government’s refusal to provide such amount. On this, the Chief Minister said, “I have not heard of anything like this happening.”
Chief Minister Thackeray also inspected the five-star Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Estate in Aurangabad. He also said that the colony needs to be advertised across the country and abroad. After the press conference, he also wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi a happy birthday. “We are speaking from the heart,” he said.
This is not the suggestion of a coalition signal. Discussion will take place based on what is said openly. The atmosphere will be created. Let’s see how it changes. But the BJP-Sena alliance lasted for many years. The people of the state had also voted for the alliance. Now Shiv Sena has formed a government with Congress-NCP. But if something happens with the new signals, the people of the state will definitely like it. But such proposals are not made openly. Let’s go to the discussion in Mumbai and see if anything happens. – Raosaheb Danve, Union Railway Minister
