Heavy rains in Solapur; 20 students injured in school blasts

 

The city of Solapur and its environs received unseasonal rains on Wednesday evening. As many as 20 students were injured when panhali sheets were blown off a school classroom in Akkalkot Road MIDC area of ​​the city due to strong winds. Three of the injured students were said to be in critical condition.
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose School is on Kumbhari Vidy Gharkul Road in MIDC area. Classes at the school were held in the evening when it was raining with strong winds. But due to the storm, leaflets flew from the classroom and fell on the students. The 20 injured students were rushed to the government hospital and the nearby Lokmangal-Jivak Hospital. Rescue teams rushed to the spot after the accident. The rain was hampering the relief work.
