An interim order will be issued on petitions seeking an independent inquiry into alleged surveillance of political leaders, journalists and other key figures by Pegasus Spyware, the Supreme Court said in a hearing on Monday. “Journalists, politicians, chief ministers and ministers of the country were monitored by Pegasus. The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha could not function on the Pegasus issue. If the government says what is the question of national security, it will increase the knowledge of our country. If the government is not ready to listen to the Supreme Court, then what kind of national security is happening in this country? We will all come together and discuss it again, ”said Sanjay Raut.
