In the last 24 hours, 26,964 new corona patients have been found in the country. 383 people have died due to corona. At the same time, the recovery rate is now 97.77 per cent, the highest since March 2020. It is heartening to note that in the last 24 hours, 34,167 people in the country have become tax-free. Therefore, the total number of tax free patients has reached 3 crore 27 lakh 83 thousand 741 so far.
The country’s daily corona positivity rate is currently 1.69 per cent. For the last 23 days, the positivity rate has come down to 3%. In the last 24 hours, 75 lakh 57 thousand 529 people have been vaccinated in the country. So far, a total of 82 crore 65 lakh 15 thousand 754 citizens have been vaccinated.

There is good news for Corona in the country. According to scientists, the R-value of the corona in India has dropped to less than 1. ‘R-value’ is a standard that indicates the speed of corona infection. At the end of August, the R-value was 1.17, scientists said. In mid-September, it fell below 1 to 0.92. This means that the pace of transition has slowed across the country. However, some major cities e.g. Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore have more than R-value 1. So, Delhi and Pune are below R-value 1. Considering the states, Maharashtra and Kerala are below R-value 1.
For four days in a row, there have been no deaths due to corona in Delhi
No deaths were reported on the fourth day in the country’s capital, Delhi. So far, 25,085 people have died in Delhi. As many as 39 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours, according to data released on Tuesday (September 22). The corona infection rate has gone up to 0.06 per cent. At present there are 400 active patients in Delhi.
