After the revolt of senior Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, political upheaval has been going on in Maharashtra for the last two days. At any moment, the Mahavikas Aghadi government could collapse. Meanwhile, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Uma Bharti has made a big statement. He has said that the present Shiv Sena is not Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, this government must fall.
Uma Bharti has strongly criticized Shiv Sena this time. Criticizing her, she said, “The Mahavikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra is a road fruit, it must fall. The Mahavikas Aghadi government established in Maharashtra has been formed in a wrong way. Because Congress and Shiv Sena can never get together. So that government is the fruit of the streets. She also said that her sole objective was to keep the BJP out of power.
Speaking further, he said, ‘Shiv Sena in Mahavikas Aghadi is not the Shiv Sena of Balasaheb’s thoughts, it is the Shiv Sena with the B team of Congress. Therefore, this government must fall, because it is an anti-Hindu and anti-woman government. Shiv Sena should change its name to ‘Congress Sena’, “he added.
In fact, after the Maharashtra Legislative Council’s verdict on June 20, senior Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde was not reachable with more than 30 MLAs. It was later learned that he was at Surat in Gujarat. But at midnight on Wednesday, he left for Guwahati in Assam with all the MLAs. Therefore, the dilemma is facing Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
