‘Medicine From The Sky’ scheme launched in Telangana; Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said.
The ‘Medicine from the Sky’ scheme was launched in Telangana. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao were present on the occasion. Through this scheme, vaccines and essential items will be delivered to remote areas using drones.
“Today is a very revolutionary day not only for Telangana but for the entire country. The drone policy has been formulated under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It will be analyzed after three months. After that, the Ministry of Aviation, the Ministry of IT, the Ministry of Health, the state government and the Center will work together to create a model for the entire country, ”said Jyotiraditya Scindia.

The scheme has been launched as a pilot project in 16 green zones of Telangana. The scheme will then be rolled out across the country.

“A 100-day plan has been drawn up covering 16 issues related to airports, policy and reforms. Air taxis and sky taxis are the future of the country. India is expected to be the drone capital by 2030, ”said Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
