National Education Policy will prepare students for global challenges- Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that those who have knowledge and skills do not have to worry about their livelihood. He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Sardardham Bhavan in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A competent person creates his own path for his progress, he said.

Prime Minister Modi had participated in this program through the television system. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the emphasis of the country’s national education policy is on enhancing our education skills. What kind of skills will be in demand in the market in the future, what will our youth want to stay ahead in the world in the future, the national education policy will prepare the youth for global challenges from the very beginning.

Modi further said that today Skill India Mission is the priority of the country and under this mission lakhs of youth have got the opportunity to acquire different skills. They are becoming self-reliant. Under the National Apprenticeship Scheme, the youth are also getting opportunities for skill development and financial benefits. Gujarat is making efforts in this direction through many other schemes including human welfare schemes.
