No party has the ability to compete with BJP
Uttar Pradesh BJP president Swatanter Dev Singh on Wednesday said his party works for the welfare of everyone irrespective of religion, caste and creed. Speaking at the Times Now Navbharat Navnirman Manch program in Lucknow, he said that no party has the capacity to compete with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
“No party has the capacity to compete with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Only a party that does not politicize casteism, dynasticism, religion and which only works for the development of Uttar Pradesh and the welfare of the youth can give us tough competition, ”he said. He also accused the Samajwadi Party of using vote bank politics to please the Muslim community.
He said Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party should not be considered a weak party and would be stronger than the Samajwadi Party in next year’s Uttar Pradesh elections. When asked about Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s claim that his party would win 400 seats in the forthcoming state elections, Singh took a look at him and asked where he would get so many seats.
