Mushrif decides to file Rs 100 crore defamation suit against Somaiya
Former BJP MP Kirit Somaiya had on Wednesday handed over documents against Rural Development Minister Hasan Mushrif to senior officials of the Income Tax Department and the Directorate of Enforcement in New Delhi. Somaiya had said that action was expected in the next two to four weeks and that he would now expose the misconduct of a minister from Vidarbha. As a result, Somaiya has alleged that the Home Minister had ordered his arrest from his house.
He shared a video about it from his Twitter account. Somaiya had accused Mushrif of embezzling Rs 127 crore and had warned him to file a suit worth Rs 100 crore. Transport Minister Anil Parab had also issued a legal notice to Somaiya for defamation and warned him to file a suit worth Rs 100 crore. Somaiya had said that he was not paying the price and that six leaders had issued such notices.
