Owaisi charged in Uttar Pradesh for endangering communal harmony

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has been charged with inciting communal tensions over his statement. The action has been taken against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for making indecent and insulting statements without following the rules. Asaduddin Owaisi, head of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen, was booked by Barabanki police on Thursday night for making indecent remarks at a party meeting. According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Yamuna Prasad, charges have been filed against him under Section 153A (religious rift), Section 188 (insult to public servants), Section 269 (spreading danger to others), Section 270 (causing the disease) and communicable diseases. .

Asoduddin Owaisi, an MP from Hyderabad, had gathered a large crowd at Katra Chandana in violation of the Covid Rules and social distance norms. According to the Superintendent of Police, Owaisi had said that the Ramsnehi Ghat Mosque was 100 years old and had been demolished by the administration. The mosque mentioned by Owaisi is in front of the residence of the Special Justice Magistrate in the tehsil area. The mosque was demolished on May 17 on the orders of a special magistrate of Barabanki. Barabanki District Magistrate Adarsh ​​Singh said the mosque was illegal and was taken over by the tehsil administration on March 18. The petition was disposed of by a Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court. Barabanki Superintendent of Police Yamuna Prasad said Owaisi had created an atmosphere against the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister by threatening communal harmony. Owaisi is on a three-day tour of Uttar Pradesh where his party will contest 100 Assembly seats.

Owaisi had alleged that efforts to transform the country into a Hindu nation have been going on for the last seven years. The government has passed a law against triple divorce and the situation of Hindu women is not very good. Since Modi came to power, the country has moved from secularism to Hindu Rashtra. Criticizing the Triple Divorce Act, she said it has done injustice to Muslim women but they are silent. Men are treating Hindu women in the same way. Prime Minister Modi’s wife lives alone in Gujarat. He said there were no answers to any of her questions.
