Part of a bridge under construction in Mumbai collapsed; 13 injured

Part of a bridge under construction in Mumbai collapsed around dawn. So far, 13 people have been slightly injured in the accident, police said. All the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital and are being treated. The incident took place around 4.30 am. Upon getting information about this incident, the fire brigade team reached the spot. No one has been killed in the accident so far. The flyover connecting BKC Main Road and Santacruz-Chembur Link Road is under construction at Bandra Kurla Complex. Some workers were injured when part of it suddenly collapsed in the morning.

According to the information received in this regard, the fire brigade was called immediately after the accident took place around 4.30 am. Police also rushed to the spot. Thirteen injured people have been admitted to the hospital. It is learned that most of them are laborers constructing flyovers.
