A senior Congress leader has made a big statement against Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s growing activism in Uttar Pradesh. “We may soon announce Priyanka Gandhi as the face of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister,” said senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid. Khurshid said, “We will contest the 2022 UP Assembly elections under the leadership of Priyanka Gandhi. Priyanka Gandhi is working hard for the victory of the Congress here. At the same time, we can declare him as the face of the Chief Minister’s post. ” Meanwhile, the Congress has earlier released a promo for the Uttar Pradesh elections. In which Priyanka Gandhi is mentioned as ‘Hope of Uttar Pradesh’.
The Congress has also announced a ‘Pledge Yatra’ for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2022. Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections, the party has decided to go door-to-door to increase contact with the common man in the state. Under the leadership of Priyanka Gandhi, party leaders, office bearers and activists have announced that the journey will be as long as 12,000 km. The party has dubbed the yatra as “Congress Pratigya Yatra: Hum Vachan Nibhaenge”. The yatra will travel through both urban and rural parts of the state. Therefore, the Congress is now gearing up for success in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. In which Priyanka Gandhi will be the face of Congress.

The Congress has also released the first promo on Priyanka Gandhi for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. In it, Priyanka Gandhi is described as ‘the hope of Uttar Pradesh’. Meanwhile, the Congress has not yet hinted at forming an alliance with any major party in the Assembly elections. However, the Congress is likely to join hands with a smaller party for this election.
