If PAN card and Aadhar card are not linked to each other then this is important news for you. The government has once again given an extension to link PAN card and Aadhar card. Earlier, the date for linking PAN card and Aadhar card was given till September 30, 2021. This period has now been extended by six months and those who have not linked Aadhaar and PAN cards can do so till March 31, 2022. The decision was made against the backdrop of the Corona outbreak.
The income tax department has given information in this regard by tweeting. The last date for linking Aadhaar-PAN, which was earlier September 30, has now been extended for another six months due to the challenges facing taxpayers due to the Corona epidemic.

This year, the government has extended the deadline for linking Aadhaar-PAN for the fourth time. Earlier in July, the government had extended the deadline to September 30 due to problems caused by the second wave of corona.
How to link Aadhaar-PAN card?
-Go to the Income Tax Department website to link PAN Card-Aadhar Card.
-Put your PAN card number, Aadhaar number, name and mobile number on that website.
-If Aadhar card has only birth year then click on “I have only year birth in Aadhar Card” option. There is no need to select this option if you have a full date of birth.
-Then click on “I agree to validate my Aadhar details” option.
-Then click on the link support option. This will link Aadhar card and PAN card.
