According to India Today, the chargesheet alleges that Sachin Vaze was re-hired by a competent officer and posted as in-charge of the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU), Crime Branch, Mumbai. Waze was deployed to an additional office. Waze was given a separate room.

According to the chargesheet, Sachin Waze had been in jail for a long time and wanted to regain his identity as a detective / encounter specialist. So he used a Scorpio filled with gelatin sticks. He issued a threatening letter to industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family. Parked near his residence.

On February 25, a Scorpio car packed with explosives was found in front of the house of industrialist Mukesh Ambani. Earlier, an anti-terrorism squad was investigating the case. However, as per the court order, the investigation was handed over to the National Investigation Agency. Waze has been arrested by the NIA on charges in both the cases.

The chargesheet filed by the NIA is about 10,000 pages long. Among them are Waze, Pradeep Sharma, Inspector of Police Sunil Mane, sacked constable Vinayak Shinde, sacked API Riazuddin Qazi, Naresh Gore, Anand Jadhav, Santosh Shelar, Satish Mothkuri and Manish Soni. There are about 200 witnesses, 20 of whom are protected witnesses.
