Shiv Sena-NCP struggle in Raigad reverberates in Mahavikas alliance

Tatkare’s reply to songs criticizing Sharad Pawar

Mumbai: The repercussions of the Shiv Sena-NCP political rivalry in Raigad and the NCP’s policy of bringing the Kunbi community closer are now beginning to reverberate in the Mahavikas front.

Sharad Pawar is not our leader, former Shiv Sena MP Anant Geete commented on the possibility of breaking the alliance

After this, Geete’s condition is ‘unbearable and unspeakable’ and his criticism of Pawar is like spitting on the sun, said NCP’s Raigad MP Sunil Tatkare. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that Sharad Pawar is the leader of the country.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Sunil Tatkare defeated Anant Geete. After the assembly elections, the balance of power changed and the Mahavikas Aghadi government was formed. Even after that, Shiv Sena-NCP struggle is not over in Raigad. Last year, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar summoned Bharat Gogavale and Minister of State for Industry Aditi Tatkare over the dispute in local politics. But they have not been very successful. Thus, Sunil Tatkare started the politics of bringing the Kunbi community closer to the Kunbi community who are influential in the local politics of Raigad and still support Geete. While the Kunbi Samajonnati Sangh program was being held in Mumbai on Monday in the presence of NCP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Anant Geete fired a cannon at the NCP and directly criticized NCP President Sharad Pawar.

Sharad Pawar is not our leader. Geete said that the NCP was born out of the politics of stabbing. From that, discussions started about the failure of the Mahavikas Aghadi.
