Mumbai: Well known folk artist Surkha Punekar and singer Devyani Bendre joined NCP on Thursday in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. At this time, activists from some other political parties also joined the party.
Along with Surkha Punekar and Devyani Bendre, former Leader of Opposition in Mumbai Municipal Corporation Babanrao Gavas, MNS women office bearers Manisha Khaire, Ashokrao Savne, Prabhakar Shetty, Sanjay Tripathi, Suresh Bagwe, Nitin Patil and Omkar Gavas also joined the party.
