Mumbai: As the arrangements for Ganeshotsav started, the state government on Thursday transferred 184 officers of the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police and Superintendent of Police. Some of the officers believed to be close to former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh have been transferred out of Mumbai. Many Deputy Commissioners in Mumbai have been transferred.
Complaints were lodged in the Parambir case against Mumbai Police Deputy Commissioners Parag Manere and Akbar Pathan. Both of them have been transferred to Nagpur and Nashik respectively. Some other officers have also been transferred earlier. Mumbai Deputy Commissioners of Police have been transferred and now Raj Roshan, Nitin Pawar, Nilotpal, Mahendra Kamlakar, Dr. Hari Balaji n. SV Pathak, Sunil Bhardwaj, Sanjay Latkar, Dinesh Bari, Sandeep Alote, Hemraj Rajput, Pragya Jedge, Mahesh Chimte, Shrikrishna Kokate and Shyam Ghuge have been appointed as Deputy Commissioners in Mumbai. Rashmi Karandikar was transferred from Cyber to Civil Defense. Mokshada Patil was transferred from the post of Aurangabad Superintendent to the post of Superintendent of Railways.
Neva Jain, Pravin Patil’s Dhule, Shahaji Umap’s Nashik Grameen, Avinash Bargal’s Amravati, Vijay Magar’s Nagpur Grameen, Nimit Goyal’s Aurangabad, P.R. Patil was transferred to Nandurbar Bachchan Singh as Washim Superintendent of Police.
