Truth is not defeated: Bhujbal

Mumbai: Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal reacted after the court acquitted him in the words ‘Truth never loses’. He also accused K of defaming him out of hatred. Social activist Anjali Damania said she would appeal to the high court against the special court’s verdict.

In the end, the truth prevailed, said Bhujbal. After the court verdict, Bhujbal met NCP President Sharad Pawar and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Bhujbal said that Pawar always supported him. The building of Maharashtra Sadan is glorified as a beautiful building in the capital Delhi. It was alleged that Bhujbal Ku Tumbiya accepted bribe or benefited the developer from this construction. The verdict showed that all these allegations were false. Some people had decided to harass. But we got out of it. Bhujbal also clarified that we have no anger or hatred in our minds about anyone.

Anjali Damania to appeal in High Court

Social activist and complainant Anjali Damania said that she would appeal to the High Court against the acquittal of Chhagan Bhujbal. Damania said the state government and the Bribery Prevention Department should appeal to the high court against the acquittal of Bhujbal and other accused. Some of the accused in the case were acquitted a month ago. It is understood that such instructions were given by the Law and Justice Department to the concerned not to appeal against it in the High Court. Now Bhujbal and others have been released. The state government should take the role of appealing against all the accused.
