There is good news for the devotees who have been waiting for many days to visit Char Dham. High Court lifts ban on Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand During a hearing in the High Court on Thursday, the High Court reversed its June 28 decision. Following Kovid’s rules, the court has ordered to start the Chardham Yatra.
During a hearing on Thursday, the Advocate General on behalf of the government said the corona infection is now under control. In such a situation, the decision to ban travel should be reversed. The government will issue new rules for pilgrims. The court ruled that 800 pilgrims would be allowed in Kedarnath Dham, 1,200 in Badrinath Dham, 600 in Gangotri and 400 in Yamunotri. Also, pilgrims will not be able to bathe in any of the lakes.
