Vaccine record in Mumbai with the state

 

MUMBAI: As many as 12 lakh six thousand 327 people have been vaccinated till 8 pm on Saturday in the Corona Prevention Vaccination Campaign and the state has set a new record. This figure is expected to rise until late at night.

The total number given so far in the state has gone up to six crore 27 lakhs. Maharashtra has achieved this record after Uttar Pradesh. Maharashtra had recorded the highest number ever by vaccinating 11 lakh 4 thousand 464 citizens on the same day on August 21 in the state. Twelve lakh six thousand has reached the new record by 8 pm on Saturday. This is the result of the hard work of all the components of the health system, said Dr. Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Public Health. Pradip Vyas said. Maharashtra ranks first in the country in the amount of second vaccine. Both the vaccines have been given to 1.71 crore people in the state.

4130 new patients of Corona in the state

During the day, 4130 new cases of corona were registered in the state, while 64 people died. The number of patients undergoing treatment in the state is 52 thousand 025. In 24 hours, 416 patients were registered in Mumbai, 325 in Thane district, 83 in Raigad, 68 in Panvel city, 730 in Ahmednagar, 506 in Pune, 218 in Pune city, 191 in Pimpri-Chinchwad, 297 in Solapur and 337 in Satara.

Mumbai also witnessed a record number of vaccinations on Saturday. One lakh 30 thousand citizens were vaccinated at municipal, government and private vaccination centers. It was planned to vaccinate only those who took the second dose on Saturday at all NMC centers. Accordingly, more than 81,000 citizens took the second dose at the center of the municipality. Even at private centers, more than 42,000 citizens took the second dose.
