Mumbai: Former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and senior IPS officer Parambir Singh are being investigated following allegations of explosives found outside the house of senior industrialist Mukesh Ambani and recovery of Rs 100 crore. But now they are missing and where are they now, has been questioned by the Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Praveen Darekar.
As Anil Deshmukh is the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, the party is expected to know where he is. Therefore, the party should state the location. Deshmukh is in the constituency, in Mumbai or elsewhere, the CBI, ED will find out. Deshmukh should come forward after all the legal process, said Darekar.
Engineer insulted by BJP corporator
Mumbai: Engineers from ‘L’ section of Kurla West will stage an agitation today (Tuesday) to protest against BJP corporator Harish Bhandirge’s insult to an engineer in the water department of the municipality. Bhandirge is a BJP corporator from Kurla West. There is a problem of drinking water in Sanjaynagar, Noorani Masjid, Navpada, Sunderbagh areas of Ward No. 164. Bhandirge had insulted the engineer by alleging that he was selling water in the area.
